First time there. Everyone was super nice, I felt like we were at home with family. I ordered the chicken platter Food was so fresh and delicious. The owners puts great pride it their food as well as they should. Amazing experience Can't wait to go back and try the biscuits amd gravy.

I had a nice experience at Smyrna Cafe! The food was delicious! We tried the Reuben, waffles, pancakes, and a club sandwich, and we loved each meal. We were waited on by a lovely older man and woman, both of whom were incredibly sweet and attentive. Almost too sweet, honestly, he came by our table to check on us multiple times, asked us where we were from, and thanked us for giving his restaurant a try. All in all, it was a great spot for lunch, just what you would expect from a charming mom-and-pop café. Highly recommend it for a cozy dining experience!

I came here with my cousin and honestly I’m surprised it wasn’t packed because the food is bomb. We got there around 1:30p on a Saturday. I ordered the chicken and waffles (swapped the waffle out for pancakes). I don’t know what they season that chicken with, but it was a 10/10 for me. The server was so sweet too. I think she and her husband are the owners and you can feel the love they put into it. He even came out to check on us and make sure everything tasted good. Little touches like that go a long way. To sum it up, this restaurant is a gem. Would definitely recommend.

This is honestly the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. 10/10 The service was fast and everyone was kind and patient. I really appreciate how welcoming the atmosphere feels. Thanks again for such a delicious meal

Let me start by saying that I never finish all of my food and I never rate places a 5/5…but today I did!! The chicken and waffles were perfect. I am not a person to mix sweet and savory usually, but today was the day that changed that. The owners were so kind and attentive and the food was hot. The chicken was seasoned well and that waffle…it was both fluffy and crispy and held the syrup in the deep pockets. This is a spot that is worth the stop every time we are in the Nashville area. You have to check them out! Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The food, people, and culture was stellar. They do their best to make sure you are satisfied and truly love what they do. I'd recommend Smyrna to anyone that wants an easy feel, and good with people that care and want to be at work. One year update: Came back a year later and I would argue it is better than before which I didn't know was possible. Amazing service and amazing man running the resturant. 10/10 2nd year Update: WOW... man i wish 6 stars was possible. I still love it even 2 years later. I only come in about twice a year and he remembers who I am. Truely how a business should be ran. Great food as always!!

The menu has a good selection of homestyle foods. I myself love their catfish and green beans, they have breakfast, (brunch) lunch and dinner selections. The service is attentive and friendly.. prices are reasonable too. Great customer service and I definitely recommend.

Love this place. Meatloaf, burgers, breakfast all great. Favorite is the patty melt burger and this Jersey girl is here to tell you that they homemade caramel cheesecake is legit!!

MAN OH MAN! This place is amazing! Came here with my husband for breakfast and they knocked it out of the park! The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. We got the Create-Your-Own Omelette and the Chicken and Waffles (with a side of hot sauce) the food was piping hot when it came out and the presentation looked amazing :) the omelette was perfect, and the chicken and waffles were so freaking good!! Like their tenders are the best tenders I have had in a really really long time, maybe ever. And don’t even get me started on the hot sauce, if I could buy it by the bottle I would!! Pretty sure it is home made. Has amazing spice and flavor. And don’t get me started on the Belgian waffle!! So fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Absolutely amazing 10/10 will go here again and again. I’m really excited to try their lunch/dinner menu soon.
